Student Life
Student life at St. John's extends beyond academics to focus on the whole child. Students are more than vessels for information, and deserve the opportunity to engage in enrichment activities, athletics, clubs, and service projects that allow them to pursue various interests. That's why we're proud to offer advantages that fulfill their need for more.
Chapel
Every Wednesday at 8:30 am we are privileged to join together with the entire school for worship. Weekly chapel services help grow our faith in Jesus and keep us connected to each other.
Faith Families
Faith families are an opportunity for older children to guide, direct, and mentor younger ones, allowing students to build relationships that transcend age or grade level.
Academic Activities
Periodically throughout the school year, St. John's hosts in-school academic activities such as spelling bees and geography bees. Students gain self-esteem and confidence as they share newfound knowledge and showcase their abilities to retain and apply it.
Art
As part of the curriculum, artists sketch, paint, and mold, creating impressive works of two and three-dimensional art projects while allowing creativity to reign.
Drama
Budding performers have the opportunity to participate in musicals, concerts, Christmas programs, and worship as part of both in-school activities and extracurricular opportunities in conjunction with our church.
Music, Choir, and Band
Elementary school students learn music through listening, playing, singing, and dancing. Middle school students choose to participate in band and vocal choirs where they have the opportunity to perform in church worship, chapel, school musicals, and other various concerts.
